If you are or were employed as a Construction Manager (CM) at Lennar Home Corporation and regularly worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving overtime pay, you may have a claim for unpaid wages.
What’s Happening?
It is alleged that Lennar has misclassified CMs as exempt employees, depriving them of overtime compensation. Despite the job title, it is alleged that these CMs:
✅ Spent most of their time on manual labor and scheduling, not managerial duties.
✅ Had no authority to hire, fire, or discipline employees.
✅ Followed strict corporate guidelines with little independent decision-making.
✅ Were required to work long hours (sometimes from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM) without additional pay.
✅ Had deductions for partial-day absences, which could impact their exempt classification.
Similar lawsuits and settlements have been brought against Lennar and other major homebuilders for misclassifying employees and denying them overtime wages. If these allegations are true, Lennar may be in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other applicable labor laws.
