Are you a victim of Green Motion Car Rental alleged: hidden fees, fraudulent charges, or deceptive business practices when booking through Expedia or other third-party sites? We are currently investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Green Motion, Expedia, and related entities for unlawful charges, forced add-ons, and misleading rental terms.
Consumer Complaints: Hidden Fees & Fraudulent Billing Practices
Consumers have reported that after booking a rental car through Expedia, they were forced to pay undisclosed fees at Green Motion’s off-site airport locations. Some of the common complaints include:
- Unauthorized Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Charges – Despite having personal car insurance and credit card rental coverage, renters were told their policies would not be accepted and were forced to pay an additional $130+ in fees.
- Inflated Toll Charges & Hidden Fees – Customers were prohibited from using their E-ZPass/SunPass, instead being required to pay a $20 per day fee for Green Motion’s own toll system, plus tolls. If refused, they faced excessive penalty fees and violation surcharges.
- Fraudulent Billing & Misleading Pricing – Renters were billed for unauthorized charges, and disputes with credit card companies and insurance providers have classified these fees as fraudulent business practices.
BBB F-Rating & Growing Consumer Backlash
