Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of individuals who purchased tickets for the Texas Eclipse Music Festival in Burnet, Texas. The Texas Eclipse MusicFestival was scheduled from April 5 to April 9, 2024. Texas Eclipse Music Festival suddenly canceled the event but has failed to provide refunds. It has been alleged that the festival oversold tickets and festival accommodations and failed to provide said accommodations to individuals who purchased them. It is further alleged that the festival failed to ensure the premises were safe, failed to provide adequate medical care, and failed to properly evacuate the festival.
Sauder Schelkopf served as court-appointed Class Counsel in a class action settlement on behalf of purchasers of credentials for the 2020 South by South West Conference & Festivals in Austin, Texas that was canceled due to COVID-19. The court granted final approval to the settlement on February 18, 2022.
