Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Prince Hydraulics of Sioux City, Iowa.  It has been reported that Prince Hydraulics abruptly closed a plant and terminated approximately 40 workers on Friday, January 18, 2019 without providing proper notice in accordance with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.  Under certain circumstances, the WARN Act stipulates that employers give employees at least 60 days notice prior to termination.

Experience Matters

Sauder Schelkopf recently secured a $1.5 million settlement on behalf of 300 former employees of a North Carolina aviation maintenance facility.  We also represented former employees of a Texas cabinetry manufacturer in an $800,000 settlement.
