Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against LabCorp, one of the world’s largest clinical laboratory testing groups, for a data breach. It has been reported that the unauthorized activity that exposed patients’ first and last names, dates of birth, addresses and provider and balance information took place between Aug. 1, 2018, and March 30, 2019. It is alleged that LabCorp failed to timely warn estimated 7.7 million patients that their personal information was exposed by hackers.
