Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Hill’s Pet Nutrition related to the recent recall of some of its canned dog foods. Pet stores and veterinary clinics sold the pet food at issue. It has been reported that the canned food products allegedly contained excessive levels of Vitamin D which may cause vomiting, loss of appetite, excessive drooling, weight loss, and death. Illnesses related to the tainted food were reported in November 2018. Hill’s voluntary recall started in January 2019.
