Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of attendees of Elements Festival that took place in Lakewood, PA from September 3 through September 6, 2021.
It was reported in part by the Pocono Record on Sept 10, 2021:
Online posts from attendees cite wait times exceeding half a day or more, issues getting into the grounds, numerous problems with camp setups that packed people side-by-side, COVID-19 protocols that were not enforced, restrooms overflowing with waste and more. . . .
According to the Elements website, the capacity limit was to be kept at 6,000 people in an effort to reduce the carbon footprint for the event. The online apology issued by organizers noted that there were around 6,800 guests and over 100 artists present at the time. Camp Lavi’s website specifically notes that it is able to accommodate about 600 people.
