Sauder Schelkopf is currently investigating a lawsuit against Hanna Anderson related to its January 15, 2020 announcement of a data breach impacting the personal information of customers.  According to news reports, the data breach exposed card numbers, CVV codes, expiration dates, names and addresses. The hack affected transactions made on the company’s purchasing platform between Sept. 16 and Nov. 11, 2019. It has been reported that the payment page of Hanna Andersson was said to have been infected with a skimmer to get access to this sensitive information. It has also been reported that all customers who made a payment on the platform within the stated period will be notified of potential access to their credit card details. Hannah Andersson also claimed to have no idea of the number of affected customers.
