An investigation alleges sexual misconduct of former students by two former employees at the Gilman School (Baltimore, MD) over several decades. The Baltimore Sun reported that an investigation commissioned by the school alleges that the abuse may have occurred as far back as the 1950s.
In a January 21, 2021 letter the school stated in part: “We are heartbroken to know that Gilman boys had been abused while in our care. To them, and to those whose lives have been impacted by these heinous acts of emotional and physical abuse, we offer our deepest apologies.”
