Sauder Schelkopf is investigating litigation on behalf of former residents of Bellwether Behavioral Health. Bellwether is a former for-profit provider of residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. It was reported that the “private equity-owned developmental disability services company, . . . was known as AdvoServ before 2017. The named change came after reports of patient deaths and restraining devices, which led other states, including Delaware, New York and Florida, to remove residents from company homes.”
These are only allegations and have not at this time been proven in court.
