Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action against Oklahoma-based Avem Health Partners, which provides administrative and technology services to healthcare organizations after it issued the following notice of a data breach impacting 271,303 individuals:

Avem Health Partner’s notice describes the breach as follows:

Avem provides administrative and technology services to healthcare organizations. Avem notified these healthcare organizations On September 9, 2022, about a data security incident experienced by 365 Data Centers that may have resulted in unauthorized access to some patient information Centers, on May 16, 2022, they determined. According to 365 Data the information stored on their servers may have been subject to unauthorized access prior to May 14, 2022.

The notice further states that Avem Health Partner determined the compromised files contained patient information, including the following:

  1. patient names,
  2. dates of birth,
  3. Social Security numbers,
  4. driver’s license numbers,
  5. health insurance information, and
  6. diagnosis and treatment information.
