Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of owners and lessees of Volkswagen Jetta, Golf, and Golf SportWagen vehicles related to claims that they are prone to excessive engine oil consumption. It has been alleged that consumers with these Volkswagen vehicles are experiencing oil consumption and have also observed metal shavings in the engine oil. It has also been alleged that when consumers present their vehicles to Volkswagen dealerships for repairs, they are informed that the oil consumption is considered “normal” and are denied warranty repairs.
