Class action investigation related to allegations that certain BMW 230i, 320i, 330i, 430i, 530i, and 540i vehicles (model year 2017-2021) are experiencing premature failures of the engine coolant line.

Sauder Schelkopf is investigating a potential class action lawsuit related to allegations that certain model year 2017-2021 BMW 230i, 320i, 330i, 430i, 530i, and 540i vehicles are experiencing premature failures of the engine coolant line. It has been alleged that when the engine coolant line fails, the vehicle rapidly loses engine coolant and causes the engine to overheat. It has been further alleged that BMW is aware of the engine coolant line failures, but has not extended the warranty or provided a redesigned part free of charge. In addition, BMW issued a technical service bulletin, SIB 17-01-21, that states that the engine coolant line cannot handle excessively high temperatures over the lifetime of the part.
